Unhide rows between a gap
Unhide rows in excel when numbers jump (e.g. 5 then 12):
- Select the row above and below the gap (row 5 and row 12).
- Right-click → Unhide (or Home → Format → Hide & Unhide → Unhide Rows).
Unhide all rows on the sheet
- Click the triangle at the top-left (select all), or
Ctrl+A. - Home → Format → Hide & Unhide → Unhide Rows.
- Repeat Unhide Columns if column letters are missing.
Row 1 or column A is hidden
- Hidden row 1: in the Name Box type
A1→ Enter → Format → Unhide Rows. - Hidden column A: Name Box
A1→ Unhide Columns.
Not hidden—just filtered or frozen
