  1. Select the merged range (or any cell inside it).
  2. Home → Merge & Center → Unmerge Cells.
  3. Only the top-left cell keeps the value; other cells become empty—copy/fill if you need the label on every row.

Unmerge an entire sheet

  1. Select all (Ctrl+A).
  2. Unmerge Cells.
  3. For title rows used only for layout, consider Center Across Selection instead of Merge (Format Cells → Alignment → Horizontal).
