FAQ
How do I find and replace Excel online for free?
Open /excel-find-replace, upload xlsx or csv, add rules, preview highlighted hits, then export. No signup.
Can I replace text in one column only?
Yes. Each rule targets a specific column or all columns. Unselected columns are not changed.
Different find/replace per column?
Yes. Add one rule per column—e.g. A: to be good → all good, B: abc → bb. Rules run in order.
Is this a Ctrl+H alternative?
Yes. Desktop Ctrl+H is usually one pair at a time. Here you set multiple column rules, preview, then download without installing Excel or WPS.
Does it support regex?
Yes. Use regex for prefixes, numbers or variant spellings. Turn it off for plain text replace.
Match case?
Optional. Enable match case when you need exact capitalization.
Replace across all sheets?
Yes. Apply the same rules to every worksheet in the workbook.
CSV or WPS files?
Upload csv or xlsx exported from WPS/Excel. Export is a new xlsx.
Will formulas be overwritten?
The tool targets cell text. Back up formula-heavy workbooks before export.
Is my file stored?
Processed in server memory and discarded after the response. Do not upload sensitive spreadsheets.
