Why use AI for quotations
Freelancers, agencies and SMBs send quotes constantly. Rebuilding Word/Excel templates every project wastes time.
The AI quotation generator turns a plain-language project description into line items, quantities, prices and payment terms—you refine in a form, preview live, then export Excel or print PDF.
Before you start
- Get an LLM API key (DeepSeek, OpenAI, Qwen, etc.)
- Open the AI quote generator
- Under AI settings, pick provider, endpoint and model; enter your key (stored locally only)
No AI? Use the form tab—preview and export still work.
Five-step workflow
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | Pick an industry template (software, construction, consulting, general…) |
| 2 | Describe the project in the AI tab (client, scope, timeline, budget) |
| 3 | Click Generate, review totals in the form |
| 4 | Add issuer and client details |
| 5 | Export Excel or Print → Save as PDF |
