Packing List (PL) Generator – Weight, Volume, Marks | TradeDocs

Create an export packing list PDF: cartons, gross/net weight, volume, shipping marks, aligned with the commercial invoice. /TradeDocs · https://tradedocs.comtools.cn/.

What a packing list is for

A packing list (PL) tells the forwarder, warehouse and customs how goods are packed: carton numbers, qty per carton, gross/net weight, measurement/volume and shipping marks. It travels with the commercial invoice (/commercial-invoice) but describes physical packing, not only value.

Keep PL in sync with CI

Item names, HS codes and total quantities should match the CI. TradeDocs uses one deal: after you lock shipped qty, preview CI and PL together before downloading. Overview: /TradeDocs. Pre-shipment checklist on the product site: https://tradedocs.comtools.cn/guides/shipment-checklist.

How to fill marks and weights

Shipping marks usually include buyer short name, destination port, carton no. (e.g. 1/20) and origin. Weights must be consistent carton by carton. Enter them on the TradeDocs deal/packing fields, then export PL PDF from https://tradedocs.comtools.cn/.

FAQ

QHow do I make a packing list for export?

Use the same deal as your CI in TradeDocs, fill carton/weight/volume/marks, switch document type to Packing List, download PDF. Hub /TradeDocs.

QIs a packing list the same as a commercial invoice?

No. CI is value for customs and accounting; PL is packing, weight and volume. Export both: /commercial-invoice and this page.
