Generate QR Codes in Excel: Write Images Back to Cells

No VBA or add-ins—upload a workbook with a content column, generate QR images online, and download an xlsx with a new QR column.

Prepare a headed sheet

Row 1 = headers. Keep a URL, ID, or text column. Dedup first if needed.

Switch to Excel batch

Open the tool, choose Excel batch, upload .xlsx/.xlsm, and select sheet + content column.

Preview counts and samples

Stay within the free 200-row limit and review generate/skip samples.

Download the imaged workbook

The new rightmost column holds embedded QR images—ready for label printing.

Tips

  • Cell sizes 80/120/160 px; 120 works well for stickers.
  • Convert legacy .xls to xlsx or CSV first.
  • Empty content cells are skipped.
